Vaibhav Narawade

Dr. Vaibhav Narawade is currently serving as Registrar at Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University. He is an academician, researcher, and administrator with more than 25 years of teaching and administrative experience in higher education. His areas of expertise include Wireless Sensor Networks, Image Processing, and Data Science. He is now joining the Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University as Registrar, bringing with him extensive academic leadership, governance experience, and expertise in skill-based and higher education.

Prior to joining Ratan Tata Maharashtra State Skills University, he served as Professor at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Nerul, from 2019 to May 2026. Dr. Narawade has made significant contributions to academic administration and university governance. He served as a Member of the Senate of the University of Mumbai from 2008 to 2010 and subsequently as a Member of the Management Council and Member of the Senate from 2017 to 2022.

Dr. Narawade has authored and co-authored several international conference papers, journal publications, and book chapters. He has also published four books in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering. He regularly serves as a Session Chair and reviewer for international conferences and is an Editorial Board Member of the American Journal of Agricultural Science, Engineering, and Technology (AJASET). He has also served as a Judge for the Avishkar Research Convention organized by the University of Mumbai. He is a Fellow of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

With his strong blend of academic excellence, research orientation, institutional leadership, and policy-level experience, Dr. Vaibhav Narawade continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of technical, higher, and skill-based education in India.
